I have noticed on Newsvine, that the "mob" mentality is rather pervasive. If someone comments somthing that is perfectly respectful, the mob will come along and "flag" it as inappropriate, just because it happens to go against the majority opinion. I have contacted Newsvine on this issue, and they tell me that the code of honor is equally enforced. Really?. When I see DOZENS of people "breaking" the code, CLEARLY and REPEATEDLY, there is NEVER anything done about it. This of course, is because it takes a "mob" of hypocrites, to get a comment removed, or a member suspended. If an honest person, tries to report one of the MANY "favored" users, we are simply ignored. I am NOT asking for preferential treatment, like MANY receive. I am just asking for "equity" across the board, or "honor" as it were. Am I asking too much?
